Educational farm program systematically selects and develop farms suitable for farm experiences in connection with the curriculum in elementary, middle, and high schools, and helps to understand the ecology and the environment, while recognizing the importance of life through creative, scientific, and sensual activities, which can’t be experienced in schools.

Improvement of farmers’ living environment

• JBARES supplies safety rules for farming and protective equipment by analyzing harmful elements through health examinations of farmers and the working environment analysis for adjusting the safety of the farming environment, continuously reducing disasters by improving the ability and recognition of safe farming management.
• JBARES supports customized health care, learning programs, and avocational activities for senior citizens in farming villages in order to solve the problems in farming villages and farming itself due to the rapidly aging society and the increasing ratio of small families in farming villages

Implementation of agricultural management database

JBARES analyzes the economic value and carries out R&D for the development of management technology in agricultural food marketing in order to support the decision making of farmers when selecting crops and improving the farmers’ income. Moreover, JBARES analyzes the income per crop and uses it as the standard data to estimate the minimum price of farm products, including basic data for research and instruction to improve farm management and estimate the amount of compensation against farmers’ losses.
